The Akorda Presidential Palace hosted a solemn ceremony of presenting the award of the special
distinction to Sat
Tokpakbayev,
a prominent state and public figure, veteran of national security and defence
bodies. President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev awarded the holder of the Halyk Kaharmany title the
Gold Star and the Otan Order,
emphasizing that Sat Tokpakbayev's biography has always been
inextricably linked to the life of the country.
«You have shown exceptional commitment in serving our
homeland. Right after Kazakhstan gained independence, you undertook crucial
tasks, working tirelessly to maintain the country’s stability and integrity.
This is a true feat. We appreciate that you continue to work for the benefit of
the people. You are a prominent citizen of Kazakhstan,» said President Tokayev.
