President Tokayev holds telephone conversation with Japanese PM

Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held a telephone conversation with Prime Minister of Japan Fumio Kishida. The Head of State expressed words of solidarity to the Japanese people in connection with the earthquake in Japan and hope that it would not lead to serious consequences. In turn, Fumio Kishida regretfully informed about the forced decision to postpone his official visit to Kazakhstan, including for his participation in the first summit of the Central Asia - Japan Dialogue. The interlocutors also discussed the prospects for developing Kazakh-Japanese relations.
