During their meeting, Kazakh
President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and the OSCE Chair-in-Office, Ian Borg, who
also serves as Malta’s Minister for Foreign and European Affairs and Trade,
discussed interaction within the OSCE and bilateral agenda issues. The Head of
State noted that amidst current security challenges, the OSCE is conducting
systematic work across all three dimensions both within the region and beyond.
He reaffirmed Kazakhstan’s commitment to close cooperation with all parties to
achieve the objectives outlined in the Astana Declaration of the 2010 OSCE
Summit. In conclusion, President Tokayev conveyed warm wishes to the President
of Malta and expressed readiness to strengthen bilateral cooperation.
