On the sidelines of the Astana International Forum,
President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held meetings with France’s Minister Delegate
for Foreign Trade Laurent Saint-Martin, President of the Foreign Affairs
Committee of the National Assembly of France Bruno Fuchs, and heads of several
companies. Tokayev emphasized that France is Kazakhstan’s main trade and
investment partner in the European Union, noting steady growth in bilateral
trade in recent years. In 2024, the volume reached $5.5 billion, increasing by
a third. Tokayev also positively assessed the results of the bilateral business
