Over 600 young Kazakh citizens create unique portrait for Victory Day

The largest portrait of Bauyrzhan Momyshuly, created from hundreds of children's drawings, has been entered into the World Book of Records (WBR). The achievement was recorded in Astana, where over 600 children from local art clubs assembled a large photo mosaic at a stadium. The unique patriotic event was held to mark the 115th anniversary of the legendary commander’s birth and Victory Day. According to the Astana Mayor’s Office, the portrait covered more than 2,700 square meters and measured 32 by 70 meters.

«We spent a long time preparing for this event. It is the result of our dedicated effort and, above all, a tribute to our ancestors,» participant Aruzhan Birles said.
