The Botai art gallery which opened in Petropavl is set to become a platform
for promoting tourism in the North Kazakhstan region. Its name refers to the unique archaeological monument in the region where the horse was domesticated for
the first time, as confirmed by scientists. The Neolithic monument dates back to the 4-3 millennium B.C. Besides exhibitions, the new art space will host various meetings
with authors and artists. There are plans to present paintings by
world-famous foreign artists in the
near future.
«Such exhibition halls provide a great space for artists. A special gallery in the city allows visitors to get acquainted with art, as well as offers an excellent opportunity for artists to interact and create new works,» said Honored Worker of Kazakhstan Sembigali Smagulov.
