Today, Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart
Tokayev held a meeting with Armenian Parliament Speaker Alen Simonyan.
President Tokayev expressed satisfaction with the active cooperation between
the parties at the level of legislative bodies. On his part, Simonyan
highlighted the high level of mutual cooperation between Armenia and
Kazakhstan, including on inter-parliamentary platforms. The Head of State also
met with his Armenian counterpart Vahagn Khachaturian. President Tokayev
emphasized the exceptional importance he places on his first official visit to
Armenia, with the key outcome being the confirmation of mutual commitment to
comprehensive strengthening of Kazakh-Armenian relations. The President of
Armenia called the visit of the Kazakh leader to Yerevan historic, underscoring
its role in establishing a solid foundation and elevating interstate relations
to a new level.
