Kazakhstan plans to establish another special
economic zone. A draft government decree has been prepared by the Ministry of
Industry and Construction. The Korkyt Ata SEZ in the Kyzylorda region will
cover an area of more than 100 hectares. It is planned to open modern
industrial and production complexes there that meet international standards.
The SEZ is also expected to stimulate the growth of the country’s transport and
logistics potential.
