Nearly 75 million tonnes of oil produced in Kazakhstan in first 10 months of 2023

Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev received Energy Minister Almassadam Satkaliyev, who reported on the country’s oil output, reaching nearly 75 million tonnes over a 10-month period. The Head of State was also informed that the production of petroleum products during this period exceeded 11 million tonnes, gas production - 48 billion cubic meters, and uranium – 15,000 tonnes. In total, electricity production amounted to 93.5 billion kilowatt-hours (kWh). Satkaliyev also reported on the measures for the development of the national electrical grid and the country’s gas infrastructure. President Tokayev instructed to keep the modernization of the country’s energy infrastructure under special control.
