A new state-of-the-art IT center has opened in Tashkent at
the National Research University of Uzbekistan. Equipped with cutting-edge
tools and technologies, the center serves students, young specialists, and
professional programmers alike. Students have access to information and
services across more than 70 fields and can enroll in specialized courses in
web programming, design, internet marketing, 3D modeling, and visualization.
Meanwhile, qualified IT professionals develop software and digital platforms
aimed at addressing key issues in various sectors of the national economy.
Overall, the center offers opportunities for scientific research using digital
technologies and the creation of software products. Experts highlight its
significant role in advancing Uzbekistan’s digital economy, strengthening local
IT infrastructure, and training the next generation of specialists.
«Nowadays, information technologies are rapidly advancing.
Software development is ongoing in many fields, including water management.
Since water is a non-renewable resource, strict monitoring and accurate
accounting of consumption are essential. To support this, the institute has
tested the concept of a «smart university» and signed a corresponding agreement
with companies from the U.S,» said E’zoz Ozodov, a PhD in Technical Sciences
based in Uzbekistan.
«This device is used at pumping stations throughout the
country and was created to address emerging issues. As you can see, a
simulation model of the station has been developed, providing users with
real-time information on water treatment, enabling them to predict performance.
The device automates all processes. Looking ahead, software development is
planned to further enhance efficiency,» said Bahodir Turgunov, a researcher at the
Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers.
