The Mausoleum of Khoja Ahmed Yasawi has been placed under state protection. The corresponding decree was signed by Kazakh Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov. This decision was made considering the site’s significance and historical and cultural value, along with the goal of preserving it. According to the document, the security of the mausoleum will be ensured by the country’s internal affairs units. Notably, this famous mausoleum is located in Turkistan and was the first site in the country to be included in the UNESCO World Heritage List, classified as a unique monument of medieval architecture.
