This year, Kazakhstan is set to launch
a national digital investment platform. The unique information system will be
beneficial not only to investors but also to entrepreneurs as well as
representatives of government agencies and financial institutions. Investors
can use it to review the support measures offered in the country and government
services. The digital project primarily aims to ensure transparency in
processes, thereby increasing Kazakhstan’s investment attractiveness. President
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has instructed to expedite the launch of the platform
entrusted to the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovations and Aerospace
Industry, and the Foreign Ministry. According to the latter, the system is
currently operating in pilot mode and includes three main working principles.
“The platform includes online monitoring of all
stages of investment project implementation, automation of investment
application submission by sectoral government bodies and local authorities, as
well as automation of investment project submission by investors. The
system enables investors to receive a range of state services online without
the involvement of government agencies,” said Kazakh Deputy Foreign Minister
Nazira Nurbayeva.
