By December 20,
Kazakhstan will introduce AI into the healthcare
and energy sectors. The order was given by the Prime Minister at a meeting of
the digital headquarters for implementing the tasks set in the
state-of-the-nation address. By November 15,
domestic startups will be integrated into the healthcare system, including AI
assistants for doctors and programs for detecting oncological diseases. By December 20,
seven medical information systems will be consolidated into two on the Qaztech
platform, which is expected to improve efficiency and ease the workload of
doctors. The same deadline has
been set for launching the industry information security center in the fuel and
energy complex. By the start of winter,
AI solutions will be introduced to help diagnose electricity and heating
networks, ensuring a stable energy supply and smooth passage of the heating
season.
«Today, there is a
solution that allows using drones to quickly fly over, photograph, and record
video footage, both of the lower and upper parts of infrastructure. In the
future, based on the database of photos we are accumulating, along with the
geolocation of each utility pole currently being mapped by the Energy Ministry,
drones will be able to operate autonomously – without human control – flying
along designated routes at scheduled times. Using AI, they will identify risks
and detect defects, ensuring continuous monitoring throughout the heating
season,» said Kazakh Vice Minister of Digital
Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry Dmitriy Mun.
