Kazakhstan to integrate all government mobile applications

All government mobile applications in Kazakhstan will be consolidated. This integration will eliminate the problem of fragmented digital services, accelerate processes, and improve the quality of public services provided to citizens. To create a convenient and secure digital environment, government bodies and their subordinate organizations will be prohibited from developing separate mobile applications. They will be implemented exclusively on the eGov and Aitu platforms. Within these ecosystems, mobile services will be gradually integrated based on the SuperApp principle. This decision was made following a meeting of the Digital Headquarters chaired by Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov. In addition, government bodies were instructed to add new areas to the list of priority activities of the Astana Hub IT startup technopark. Among them are multimedia, game design and publishing, software modification, and e-sports services. Experts believe that this expansion will strengthen Astana Hub’s position as a center of attraction for the global technology community.
