Kazakhstan’s economy grew by 5% in 2024, according to
updated data from the Bureau of National Statistics. The total gross domestic
product exceeded 136 trillion tenge. Economic growth was driven by the
development of the non-oil sector, particularly through increased goods
production and expansion in the services sector. A nearly 7% rise in
manufacturing output - the highest in the past 14 years - was one of the key
drivers of GDP growth. The construction sector and agriculture also made
substantial contributions. Analysts noted that this growth is the result of
support for the real sector, the development of transport and logistics
infrastructure, and efforts to stimulate investment activity.
