Kazakhstan has opened
its longest bridge, spanning over one kilometer across the Bukhtarma Reservoir,
connecting six districts in the East Kazakhstan region. The bridge will enable
year-round, safe vehicle movement, with a capacity of up to 80,000 cars per
day. This two-lane bridge was built using advanced
engineering technologies, adhering to high-quality standards, as per the directive
of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov, who
attended the opening, emphasized that the bridge’s location along key transport
corridors will have a positive impact on the development of the logistics
industry and ensure uninterrupted connections with neighboring countries.
