Kazakhstan, Thailand agree on visa-free regime

Kazakhstan and Thailand reached an agreement on visa-free travel, which has been approved by the Kazakh government. Now, Kazakh citizens can stay in the territory of the Southeast Asian state without a visa for up to 30 days from the date of entry. Within any 180-day period, they are permitted to spend a total of 90 days in Thailand, provided they possess a passport with a validity of at least six months. If incoming tourists intend to extend their stay beyond a month, they must obtain the appropriate visa. The same rules apply to Thai citizens entering Kazakhstan.
