Kazakhstan and the Netherlands continue to expand their
cooperation, focusing on agriculture and green education. The Netherlands is
ready to share its latest achievements and scientific developments with
domestic agricultural producers, including expertise in water- and
energy-saving technologies, greenhouses, and adapted crops. Foreign experts are
confident that Kazakhstan has the potential to become one of the leaders in the
global food market. An international specialized exhibition is helping foster
business connections between the two parties. Representatives from over 200
companies across 20 countries have gathered in Astana.
«Yes, we are working close together between Kazakh
government and Dutch government. We have a common working group and a lot of
topics of cooperation, not only in greenhouse or flower business, but also in
animal health, poultry, potatoes, green education, educational agri-food,» said
Jan-Kees Goet, the Secretary General for Agriculture, Fisheries, Food Security,
and Nature of the Netherlands.
