Kazakhstan exports coal worth nearly US$950 million

Kazakhstan’s coal exports reached almost 29.5 million tonnes in 2022. The country exported nearly US$950 million worth of solid fuel, according to the Bureau of National Statistics. Russia and Switzerland bought the most coal. A slightly smaller amount was supplied to Poland, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey, Cyprus, Latvia, Uzbekistan, Estonia, and Belgium.
