Kazakhstan introduces AI agents in agriculture

Kazakhstan has launched AI-Agronom, a new application designed for agricultural specialists. Developed by Yerbolat Alpysbayev, the project is powered by artificial intelligence. Drawing on data from open sources, the digital platform provides information on grain quality, crop yields, and plant diseases, and also offers weather forecasts. The app includes a job exchange and a marketplace, where users can purchase agricultural products, equipment, and tools directly, without intermediaries. The developer plans to further expand the platform’s capabilities and connect it to government services. Currently, no similar platform exists in Kazakhstan.

«I wanted the project to cover not only Kazakhstan but also other CIS countries with developed agricultural sectors. As the President recently noted, our economy should move away from dependence on raw materials and transition toward digital products. I hope this application will also contribute to Kazakhstan’s economyshared project author Yerbolat Alpysbayev.
