362 trillion operations per second - that is the performance demonstrated by Kazakhstan’s first autonomous supercomputer. NeuroBox operates in a closed environment, without any connection to the internet. The domestic development, designed for the public sector and large businesses, ensures absolute information security. The system contains several language models, as well as content generation tools that can be adapted to the needs of a specific organization. Such a supercomputer is capable of analyzing large volumes of data in seconds, verifying documents, and automating processes. Its key advantage is the absence of any risk of data leakage.
«The core concept is information security and fine-tuning. The hardware-software complex is simply integrated into the client’s local closed network, and no data leaves it. Inside the system, we have deployed five language models ranging from 4 to 32 billion parameters, such as DeepSeek, ChatGPT, and others. They operate locally and have already been fine-tuned with data up to 2025. There is also a sixth model for image generation and a seventh for video generation. Essentially, you no longer pay for tokens, this is your own box, which you can further fine-tune,» noted Aleksandr Pan, Founder of the company developing multi-agent solutions and systems.
At the same time, the Kazakh development team is expanding into new areas. More powerful supercomputers are currently in development, along with a platform for creating AI agents. A separate focus is on robotics. Algorithms developed on the basis of the system are planned to be implemented in service robots for museums, airports, and warehouses. These robots will be able to interact with people, navigate their environment, and perform practical tasks. In the future, the domestic developments are expected to enter international markets, particularly in CIS countries. Negotiations with partners are already underway.
«For example, our nearest neighbors currently do not yet have supercomputers, so there is a strong demand for this. Secondly, we have software development and a number of products that are currently of interest to the market, including subsoil users and the financial sector, and we aim to bring them to the international market. We also have a major development that we will announce soon: we have created an analogue of a well-known platform for building AI agents,» said Tolegen Omarbekov, Founder of the company developing multi-agent solutions and systems.
Today, Kazakhstan is
building its own AI ecosystem, from supercomputers to robotics. Its domestic
developments strengthen the country’s technological independence and reinforce
its position in the field of AI.
