Kazakhstan expands cooperation with international financial institutions

The progress of projects on infrastructure construction and modernization, strengthening macroeconomic stability, developing human capital, and implementing innovations and AI technologies was discussed at a meeting of the Coordination Council for Cooperation between the Government of Kazakhstan and international financial institutions, chaired by Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov. This year, plans include constructing wastewater treatment facilities in Aktobe with the support of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. The meeting also reviewed an institutional project aimed at developing human capital, entrepreneurship, and AI-related markets, carried out with support of the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development. Participants also focused on improving support mechanisms and accelerating the commercialization of innovations in key economic sectors.
