Today, Kazakhstan celebrates
Zhanaru (Renewal) Day, which symbolizes the beginning of a new period in the
country and each citizen’s life. Therefore, the sixth day of the festive decade
is dedicated to a nationwide environmental campaign for tree planting. Nauryz
is the time not only for joy but also for reflecting on the past and making
plans for the future. Thus, trees planted across the country vividly
demonstrate the desire for the development and prosperity of Kazakhstan.
“Today is a wonderful day. Kazakh
people have a saying, “The way you meet the new year is the way you will spend
it.” On this day, people express warm wishes for prosperity and joy to each
other. I also want to wish everyone well-being and our country further growth,”
said Bolatbek Pusurmanov, an environmental campaign participant.
