New city appears in Kazakhstan

A new city has appeared on the map of Kazakhstan. President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev signed a decree on the transformation of the Kosshy village in the Akmola region into a city of regional significance. Kosshy is located in the suburbs of the capital of Kazakhstan. According to official figures, its population is just over 50,000 people.
