Kazakhstan and Estonia are expanding their cooperation in logistics, transit transport, and digitalization. Experts note that amid shifts in global trade, Kazakhstan is becoming an increasingly convenient route for Estonian goods to reach Central, South, and Southeast Asian markets. At the same time, Estonia is opening doors for Kazakhstan’s agricultural products to enter European markets. Kazakhstan plans to increase exports of grains and oilseeds through Baltic terminals. Water resource management is another key area of collaboration, with Estonia’s advanced monitoring systems for aquatic ecosystems offering potential benefits for Kazakhstan. Cooperation is also growing in education and the startup ecosystem, with analysts highlighting Estonia’s position as a leader in digital services.
«Estonia is, first and foremost, a country with the
highest number of startups per capita in the world, many of which are very
successful. I believe Estonia will help us collaboratively develop a roadmap
for sustainable development and support the digital growth of our services,» said Timur Kogabayev, professor at Maqsut
Narikbayev University.
