President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held a meeting with Pere
Joan Pons, President of the OSCE PA. The Head of State reaffirmed Kazakhstan’s
commitment to developing partnership with the Organization and its
Parliamentary Assembly. He highly praised the consistent support for the
environmental agenda and Astana’s efforts aimed at promoting sustainable
development. The President particularly emphasized the role of parliamentary
diplomacy in strengthening dialogue and trust between countries. In turn, Pere
Joan Pons highlighted the relevance of the issues discussed at the Regional Ecological
Summit. He also noted the solidarity of Central Asian states in advancing the
regional agenda and common initiatives.
