Kazakh President steps down as chairperson of Amanat Party

President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev stepped down as chairperson of the Amanat Party. The Head of State announced his resignation at an extraordinary congress of the party. The President put forward the Mazhilis Speaker Yerlan Koshanov for this position. The congress delegates voted for him. In addition, Adal Party also joined the Amanat during the congress.
