The Defense Tech innovation
support center in the field of defense and security was presented to President
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. The initiative aims to build an innovation ecosystem for
identifying, selecting, and accelerating the development of domestic
technological solutions for the needs of the Armed Forces and the national
security system. The project is being implemented by the Ministry of Defense.
The center is based at the Army House in Almaty, bringing together startup
teams, research organizations, and industrial partners. To coordinate
activities, a Defense Tech office has been established at Astana Hub, ensuring
continuous interaction between the defense sector, business, and the scientific
community.
