Kazakh President receives report from Defense Minister

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev received Defense Minister Ruslan Zhaksylykov, who briefed the President and Supreme Commander-in-Chief of Kazakhstan’s Armed Forces on the ministry’s activities. The report covered the results of combat training and the autumn conscription campaign, with a particular focus on new approaches to troop training. Zhaksylykov also reported on the delivery of new equipment and weaponry to the armed forces. The Head of State gave the minister instructions to enhance cooperation with domestic defence enterprises and develop territorial defense.

President Tokayev briefed on social and labor sphere development in Kazakhstan

Today, President Tokayev was also briefed on the development of the social and labor sector in Kazakhstan, including targeted social assistance, youth employment, and the implementation of advanced technologies. To enhance the effectiveness of state investments, an Innovative Project Navigator has been developed. This system forecasts workforce needs and monitors project performance. Currently, 755 projects, totaling 33 trillion tenge, are being tracked, with plans to create up to 150,000 jobs. Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population Svetlana Zhakupova also discussed the Digital Labor Risk Map, which helps prevent labor conflicts.
