Artist Aktoty Kanatova drew famous Kazakh khans in an anime art style to interest young people in history. She notes that there is now a growing interest in the history of the Kazakh Khanate. This period inspired the artist from Nur-Sultan to creatively rethink the images of the great people of the past. The artist's TikTok account has more than 35,000 subscribers who follow her creative works and at the same time learn more about the history of Kazakhstan. Kanatova took the national traits of Kazakh residents as a basis. The first people she portrayed in the Japanese manga style were the Khans Kerei and Zhanibek, which sparked an unprecedented interest on social media. The artist is planning to create her own online comic strip in the Japanese genre of Shonen.
