Kazakhstan plans to host a Regional Climate Summit next
year. President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev spoke about this during a meeting with
Mafalda Duarte, Executive Director of the Green Climate Fund. They also
discussed prospects for deepening cooperation between Kazakhstan and the Fund.
In turn, Duarte expressed her support for the country's efforts to address
climate issues and highly praised the ongoing implementation of the National
Adaptation Plan.
