Presidents of Kazakhstan and U.S. hold telephone conversation

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Donald Trump held an extended telephone conversation. The Presidents of Kazakhstan and the United States (U.S.) exchanged views on the bilateral agenda and the international situation, including Ukraine. Tokayev reaffirmed his commitment to the full implementation of the agreements reached during his visit to Washington this November. He emphasized the complexity of resolving the Ukrainian conflict. Therefore, Kazakhstan calls on all parties involved to demonstrate patience, flexibility, and professionalism, and to continue pursuing a peace formula. The country does not seek to act as a mediator but remains ready to offer a venue for negotiations in a spirit of goodwill. Tokayev noted the American Presidents outstanding leadership skills, which allowed him to resolve several international military conflicts and achieve positive results in strengthening the domestic potential of the U.S. The Head of State invited Trump to visit Kazakhstan, noting that this event would be of historic significance.
