Kazakh President chairs Security Council meeting

President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev chaired a meeting of the Security Council. The government and heads of relevant state agencies presented information on the achievement of key indicators. The discussion also covered public, economic, environmental, and information security. Participants reviewed the implementation results of the National Security Risk Management Action Plan, adopted as part of the National Security Strategy. President Tokayev emphasized that the strategy should be assessed based on concrete results that are significant to society and must consider the security of citizens and the state. The meeting also addressed issues of countering terrorism and extremism.
