Businesses, relevant ministries, and government agencies discussed the development prospects of Kazakhstan’s transport and logistics infrastructure in Astana. During a meeting of the Domestic Entrepreneurs Council, Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov spoke with business representatives about topics related to road, rail, water, and air transport. Following their input, Bektenov instructed the Transport Ministry to submit proposals by March 1 on a mechanism for investment returns in railway construction. A proposal was also put forward to introduce a set of measures for developing passenger road transportation. The Prime Minister supported the initiatives and emphasized the importance of creating competitive conditions for airport operations. He also noted that the development of transport infrastructure requires active cooperation between the state and businesses, with a priority on attracting private investment to the sector.
