Kazakhstan may launch a number of investment projects jointly with the Indian conglomerate. This was discussed at the meeting of the Kazakh Prime Minister and Gautam Adani, Chairman of the Adani Group. Alikhan Smailov noted that transport and logistics, energy, mining and metallurgical complex, petrochemicals and agriculture are the priority areas for Kazakhstan’s economy. He also stressed that the country has created favorable conditions for the development of entrepreneurship. In turn, Adani expressed interest in implementing projects in the fields of civil aviation, petrochemical sector, transport and logistics infrastructure as well as renewable energy sources.
