Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and President of Kenya William Ruto visited the Alem.ai International Artificial Intelligence Center to explore its potential. They were shown a museum exhibition, an AI cinema, and briefed on the Center’s long-term development strategy. The heads of state were also presented with the Astana Smart City system and its capabilities in video analytics, public safety, transport management, and the online coordination of city services.
At the Astana International Financial Centre,
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and William Ruto were briefed on the centre’s activities
as a regional platform for attracting investment and expanding cooperation
between Kazakhstan and Kenya. Additionally, the key areas of the AIFC’s work
were presented, including capital market development and the advancement of
sustainable, green, Islamic, and aviation finance. Notably, over 5,500
companies from 90 countries are registered within the AIFC ecosystem, while the total volume of
investments attracted since its establishment has reached $22 billion.
