Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan open new air routes

Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan are opening new air routes, with flights set to begin on December 1. A domestic airline will operate three weekly flights on the Turkistan-Bukhara, Turkistan-Urgench, and Turkistan-Samarkand routes. According to the Ministry of Transport, the launch of these air services will strengthen regional connectivity, stimulate business ties, and attract more foreign tourists. In addition, the Ministry of Tourism and Sports plans to explore joint promotion of the potential of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan in 2026 to combine the two countries’ tourism resources.
