Kassym-Jomart Tokayev meets with Foreign Minister of Saudi Arabia

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev received the Foreign Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud arrived in Kazakhstan on an official visit. The sides discussed the strengthening of political, trade and economic, investment and cultural-humanitarian cooperation. Kazakh President emphasized that Saudi Arabia is one of the key partners of Kazakhstan in the Arab and Islamic world. In addition, he focused on favorable investment opportunities for the implementation of joint projects in our country. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev talked about the importance of intensifying the work of Kazakh-Saudi intergovernmental commission and Business Council. In turn, the Head of the Foreign Ministry of Saudi Arabia noted the progressive development of relations between the two states. He congratulated Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on the successful holding of the referendum in Kazakhstan.

“Our countries have been consistently developing political dialogue in the spirit of friendship and mutual trust based on shared values.  And I would be very glad to continue  maintaining fruitful contacts with a Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman,” said the president.

“The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia wishes all success to the Second Republic and to continuing the journey of reforms that Your Excellency is leading and that is putting Kazakhstan on a very strong footing towards a very strong and prosperous future,” noted Faisal Bin Farhan Al Saud, Foreign Minister of Saudi Arabia.
