Kassym-Jomart Tokayev holds telephone conversation with European Council President

At the initiative of the European side, a telephone conversation took place between Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and European Council President António Costa. They discussed prospects for strengthening cooperation between Kazakhstan and the EU. President Tokayev noted the positive dynamics in the development of relations between the parties, including within the framework of the Agreement on Enhanced Partnership and Cooperation, emphasizing the importance of deepening ties in trade, investment, energy, and logistics. The two sides confirmed their readiness for further dialogue. At the end of the conversation, the Head of State invited António Costa to visit Kazakhstan.
