President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev extended his
congratulations to Aleksandr Lukashenko on his victory in the presidential
elections in Belarus during a telephone conversation. The interlocutors also
discussed key issues on the bilateral agenda, as well as cooperation within
regional and international organizations. According to preliminary data from
the Central Election Commission (CEC) of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko received
over 86 percent of the votes.
