Performers from 12 countries
have gathered in the very heart of Eurasia, Astana, to showcase their talent in
front of an international jury and audience at the unique vocal show Silk
Way Star. Everything here speaks to the scale of the project: a large
creative team, a spacious studio, and of course, the stage itself - the place
where the main action unfolds. Great responsibility, without a doubt, rests on
the shoulders of the jury members. Notably, to ensure transparency and fairness
in evaluations, jury members are not allowed to vote for contestants from their
own country. This system, along with the final audience vote from different
countries, where the decision
will be split equally, 50 percent from the jury and 50 percent from the
online audience - eliminates bias and makes the show truly international. Only the
top seven performers will remain in the final stage. They will compete for the
grand prize - the Silk Way Star title and the opportunity to present
their art on the global stage.
