Participants of the international expedition «Journey to the
Heart of Eurasia» continue their travels across Kazakhstan. A group of
researchers and experts is visiting various regions to explore their cultural,
historical, industrial, and tourism landscapes. The expedition has already
covered Aral, Kyzylorda, Turkistan, Shymkent, and Baikonur. This time, the
participants visited the Zhambyl region, where they experienced national art
and attended an exhibition of artisans at the Ancient Taraz ethnocomplex. Next,
the researchers will head to Almaty before continuing their journey through
other Central Asian cities. The expedition will conclude in Dushanbe, where the
first International Economic Forum will take place. The main goal of this
traveling project is to strengthen friendship and partnership ties between
countries.
«We have already traveled more than 4,000 kilometers from
Moscow. In total, the route will exceed 8,000 kilometers over 51 days. Bloggers
from five countries are taking part in this expedition,» said Mumomedzhon
Baizhanov, an expedition participant.
