Journalists from the TV and Radio Complex of the Kazakh
President have completed training at the Al Jazeera Media Institute in Doha. As
part of a specialized program, they mastered advanced tools designed to
streamline workflows and enhance professional skills. Artificial intelligence
helps them stay informed about the latest developments and keep up with
industry trends. Representatives of the international media outlet believe AI’s
capabilities will enable the creation of unique content for viewers in line
with modern media standards.
«It’s very important to know what is going on in the world
of technology—not only to make our jobs easier and quicker but also to generate
ideas. I think courses like this—again, especially AI courses—are very, very
useful because when you’re sitting in a bubble, and sometimes that is a
newsroom, because of the workload and pressure, you are not aware of what’s
going on outside. You go to this classroom environment, learn, and take
whatever you can from the classroom environment into a newsroom, implement it,
and make your jobs easier, quicker and more effective,» said Faras Ghani, digital
editor at Al Jazeera English.
«We now have a set of practical tools to use in media. AI
applications in the industry are vast, and it’s essential to learn them now to
stay ahead, streamline workflows, and enhance efficiency,» said Rabiga Nurbay,
Head of International News at the Kazinform International News Agency.
This training was made possible under a memorandum of
cooperation between the TV and Radio Complex of the Kazakh President and Al
Jazeera, signed during President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev’s state visit to Qatar
in February last year.
