Filming of the Asian vocal contest Silk
Way Star has begun in Astana. Work on the first episode is currently underway,
with artists showcasing their debut performances. Over 100 specialists in
lighting, sound, video graphics, and LED screen management are involved in the
musical project. The audience can look forward to a total of ten episodes. The
premiere is set for September 20, while the grand finale will be broadcast live
on November 22 on the Silk Way TV channel and
major networks of the participating countries. Silk Way Star is already being
hailed as a new cultural brand of Eurasia, capable of uniting not only its contestants
but also millions of viewers worldwide.
«A filming session lasts eight hours, with additional time set aside for sound checks. We will definitely hold full run-throughs of the stage performances to ensure the cleanest possible recording, because there is no second chance for either the artists or the team. That’s why we take this very seriously and prepare as thoroughly as possible to make sure everything goes smoothly, without a hitch,» said Sandugash Rakhimzhanova, Creative Producer of Silk Way Star.
