Investigation into Aktau plane crash continues

The analysis of the black box recordings from the Azerbaijan Airlines plane that crashed near Aktau has been completed in Brazil. The Aviation Accident Investigation and Prevention Center has sent the relevant materials to Kazakhstan. As reported by the Ministry of Transport, domestic experts will immediately begin studying the decoded data from the flight recorders upon their arrival.

«There are high hopes that the black box will reveal a lot of information - as previously mentioned, it contains cockpit voice recordings, data from all sensors, and flight control data, which will uncover many details. The commission now faces the task of working through all these versions and preparing a preliminary report,» noted aviation expert Abul Kekilbayev.

«Currently, the remains of the aircraft are in a hangar at Aktau airport. This is a standard procedure, when they are put together, and it will also be thoroughly examined to determine the cause of the aviation incident. Each component will be studied, including wires, fuselage parts, the engine, and so on. I want to emphasize again that all available data is being collected to ensure an objective assessment of the incident,» said aviation expert Serik Mukhtybayev.

It is worth reminding that on December 25 last year, an Azerbaijan Airlines plane operating the Baku-Grozny flight crashed near Aktau. There were 67 people on board, including five crew members. The aviation disaster resulted in the deaths of 38 passengers, while 29 survived.
