The Francophonie Spring Festival in Kazakhstan has concluded. The final highlight of its extensive cultural program was a concert in Astana by pianist Mūza Rubackytė. The acclaimed musician and educator is a First Prize winner of the international competition Les Grands Maîtres Français and the founder of the Vilnius Piano Festival. Now in its 16th edition, Francophonie Spring took place across seven cities in Kazakhstan. The program featured French film screenings, conferences, literary events, exhibitions, and competitions. Held in nearly 90 countries worldwide, the initiative aims to promote cultural exchange between French-speaking countries and other nations.

«This is also an opportunity for Lithuania, supporting both language learning and cultural exchange. Our event this evening in Astana is a concert by the renowned Lithuanian-French pianist Mūza Rubackytė, which also gives Kazakh citizens the chance to study the language. There are various institutions working in this field,» said Egidijus Navikas, Lithuanian Ambassador to Kazakhstan.
