An unusual flashmob took place in Berlin to mark the 30th anniversary of the diplomatic service of Kazakhstan in Germany. Kazakh diplomats, including employees of the Embassy and representatives of the country’s Foreign Ministry, ran a race across the central streets of the capital. It is well-known that multilateral diplomacy was and still remains the priority area of Kazakhstan's foreign policy. During this 30-year period, the country has established diplomatic relations with 186 states worldwide. Kazakh diplomats pursue their work in strengthening cooperation with partner states and foreign organizations. The flash mob participants said that such an event makes it possible to show the importance of leading a healthy lifestyle while working for the welfare of the country.
“Foreign policy is one of the most important directions of state activity, since Kazakhstan establishes cooperation with the globe with diplomats. This year, as you know, our diplomatic service marks 30th anniversary. In fact, I believe that sport is of great importance in the life of every person, not only diplomats. If we talk about the concepts of sports and diplomacy, there is one thing that combines them and is called sports diplomacy, which proves the fact that sport has always been bringing people together since ancient times. Sport is a peace envoy,” Meiram Zhumagulov, spokesperson for the Kazakh Foreign Ministry, said.
