In the Kazakh capital, the Nur Alem sphere at the EXPO site
was illuminated in the colours of the flags of the countries participating in
the Silk Way Star music project. The show brings together performers from 12
countries: Azerbaijan, Georgia, Armenia, Kazakhstan, China, the Kyrgyz
Republic, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, South Korea, Mongolia, and
Malaysia. The project is being implemented under an agreement between the
Kazakh President’s TV and Radio Complex and China Media Group (CMG).
