Five Kazakh
paratroopers were awarded the «Valor and Skill» badge. They received this honor
based on the results of annual professional tests in Belarus. The domestic
servicemen fulfilled combat training standards, which included shooting,
providing first aid, engineering, tactics, topography, communication, and other
disciplines. The soldiers also had to parachute from a helicopter at a height
of 600 meters, swim with equipment, and complete a 30-kilometer march. Out of
approximately 100 participants, around 30 made it to the final stage, with five
Kazakh servicemen among them.
«The final stage
proved to be quite challenging. Our servicemen
demonstrated remarkable resilience and effort. Engaging in three rounds of
hand-to-hand combat with your athletes was no easy feat. Nonetheless, they made
every effort and performed well. We
will participate every year, striving to achieve even greater results,» said
Marat Agambayev, Head of Physical Training and Sports for the Kazakh Air
Assault Forces.
