In just a month, the Kazakh capital of Astana will host the fifth World
Nomad Games. Those wishing to witness the sporting events in national style and
nomadic traditions can purchase tickets online or at city ticket offices. Sales
have already started - since August 6, tickets have been available for both the
opening ceremony and all competitions. According to the organizers, entry is
free for children under five and persons with disabilities. The opening
ceremony will feature performances by top artists, including Dimash
Kudaibergen. Athletes from 89 countries will compete in 21 disciplines,
including traditional Kazakh sports such as Kazakh kuresi, kokpar, audaryspak,
and zhamby atu, among others. Additionally, around 100,000 international guests
are expected to attend the Games alongside Kazakh spectators.
